📢 UPDATE: CALL FOR EXTENSION ON TAX-FREE RELIEF PERIOD 🇯🇲

We’ve officially written to the Jamaica Customs Agency and the Government of Jamaica requesting an extension of the current tax-free window for shipping relief items to Jamaica.

The current relief period — waiving Import Duty and GCT on goods sent to assist with Hurricane Melissa recovery — is due to end on November 28, 2025.

Many of our customers and community members here in the UK have been gathering donations and packing barrels with love and urgency — but with shipping taking 3 to 6 weeks to reach Jamaica, most of these shipments won’t arrive in time to benefit from the current relief period.

We’ve asked that the government consider extending this timeframe so more Jamaicans abroad can help their families, friends, and communities without the added cost of duty or tax.

We’ll keep you updated once we receive a response.
Until then, our team continues to assist with documentation, packing, and delivery to make sure your goods reach safely.

We’ve just received confirmation that the Minister of Finance and Public Service has approved relief of Import Duty and GCT (General Consumption Tax) on goods imported to Jamaica by the general public 💪🏽

This measure is in place to support recovery efforts following the impact of Hurricane Melissa 🌀
